You are invited to step away from the noise and demands of everyday life for a day dedicated to what matters most: your relationship with God, the man He created you to be, and the people He has entrusted to you.
Cornerstone is a one-day retreat for men centred on three realities that have shaped the Christian understanding of life for centuries: Truth, Beauty and Goodness.
Through prayer, honest conversation, inspiring reflections, personal testimony and brotherhood, we will explore what these mean for us as men, husbands, fathers, sons, friends and leaders.
No extensive retreat experience required. Just come as you are.
TRUTH | IDENTITY Who is the man God created me to be?
The world has plenty to say about what makes a man successful. What does God say?
Before our careers, accomplishments, responsibilities, successes or failures, there is a deeper truth about who we are and whose we are.
We will look honestly at the voices shaping our identity and return to the foundation upon which everything else is built: We are sons of God.
BEAUTY | VISION What is worth giving my life for?
Beauty has the power to pull us beyond ourselves and remind us that life is about more than getting through the next deadline, responsibility or challenge.
- It can be found in a marriage worth fighting for.
- Children worth showing up for.
- Friendships worth investing in.
- Work done with integrity.
- Sacrifice made out of love.
- Faith lived with courage.
We will consider what has captured our attention, and learn again to recognize what is truly worth pursuing.
GOODNESS | MISSION What is God asking of me now?
Faith isn't meant to remain inside the walls of a chapel. It changes the way we live.
- How we love our wives.
- How we father our children.
- How we lead.
- How we work.
- How we respond when life gets difficult.
- How we serve the people God has placed before us.
The question becomes not simply “What kind of man do I want to be?” but: “Lord, what kind of man are You calling me to become?”
Each man will have an opportunity to consider one concrete resolution to carry from the retreat into his family and everyday life.
At the conclusion of Cornerstone on Sunday, your family is warmly invited to join you for Holy Mass at 2:00 p.m.
Come As You Are You don't have to be a “retreat guy.”
You don't need to know all the prayers, have all the answers or be in the perfect place in your faith. Cornerstone is simply an invitation to step away for a day.
