| Don't miss the 2026 Rise to the Challenge Conference at the Riverchase Galleria in Birmingham. Join educators, interventionists, therapists, and families for two days of learning and fun! You can earn up to 12 hours of professional development and continuing education credit. We will have "tracks" designed for literacy/reading, CALTs, math, and families.
Whova App Our 2026 RTC Conference is our maiden voyage using the Whova App to bring mobile- and web-based navigation and enjoyment to your experience. When you register, you will get a link to our Whova 2026 Rise to the Challenge site. Here is a link to a short video explaining how the Whova app will work for our conference. Field Trips for Children Thanks to our Patron Sponsor, the Alabama Scottish Rite Foundation, families can bring their children for two days of exciting field trips at the Birmingham Zoo and the McWane Science Center. We have space for up to 20 students in grades 2-6. Make sure to register each child separately to reserve their space in the field trips. Children must be dropped off at the Zoo and at the McWane Science Center between 7:30 and 8:00 each morning and picked up between 3:30 and 4:00. Lunch will be provided for children each day.
