Michigan Food and Farming Systems (MIFFS), in partnership with Michael Fields Agriculture Institute (MFAI), is thrilled to share our 2026 Staple Crops Program Symposium will be a cross-state bus tour of Michigan staple crops production and marketing! Stops will include a seed farm with upland rice, a homestead and commercial elderberry farm, and an urban fruit and vegetable farm with on-farm store. Each stop will include a tour or workshop covering the topics of staple crop production, processing, and marketing.
