DESCRIPTION:Michigan Food and Farming Systems (MIFFS)\, in partnership with Michael Fields Agriculture Institute (MFAI)\, is thrilled to share our 2026 Staple Crops Program Symposium will be a cross-state bus tour of Michigan staple crops production and marketing! Stops will include a seed farm with upland rice\, a homestead and commercial elderberry farm\, and an urban fruit and vegetable farm with on-farm store. Each stop will include a tour or workshop covering the topics of staple crop production\, processing\, and marketing. \n\nTour path: Detroit to Dexter to Grand Ledge to Battle Creek and back to Detroit
