| Dr. Corey Milsap, has worked in a variety of educational and clinically related positions in West Virginia, Kentucky, Maryland, and Georgia. As an educational consultant and school psychologist, she provided consultation and training to parents, teachers, and administrators. Dr. Milsap has assisted both local educational and behavioral agencies and state education agencies in restructuring schools in positive ways when the educational movement called for greater accountability at every level. Her experience includes using techniques for linking assessment to interventions when consulting with teachers to enhance the classroom performance of students. Dr. Milsap completed her higher education at Marshall University and Argosy University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Arts in Educational Administration, Educational Specialist in Adult and Technical Education with an emphasis in training, Master of Arts in Psychology, Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, and Educational Specialist in School Psychology. Additionally, Dr. Milsap has earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University (VA). She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Clayton Center in Jonesboro, GA. Dr. Milsap has experience in assessment, consultation, staff professional development, program auditing, crisis intervention, risk assessment, counseling, bullying prevention, as well as drug prevention and intervention. These experiences were acquired by working in the juvenile and adult correctional education system, DC Superior Court Child Guidance Clinic, residential treatment center, public schools, autism training center, and mental health hospital with adults and children. As a licensed professional counselor (GA), and licensed mental health counselor (FL), Dr. Milsap provides individual, family, group, and couples therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Additionally, she provides psycho-educational evaluations, In working with individuals, Dr. Milsap can assist with the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, grief and loss, trauma, adjustment issues, mood disorders, and autism. Dr. Milsap strives to help individuals persist through difficult times to find their true potential. Dr. Milsap serves on the board of the Licensed Professional Counselor Association. Additionally, Dr. Milsap is credentialed as a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) in the State of Georgia. In addition, Dr. Milsap has taught undergraduate courses in academic study skills, undergraduate psychology courses, and graduate education courses. She demonstrates expertise in Response to Intervention (RTI), clinical training, collaborative problem solving, data-based decision making, training educators, administrators, clinicians, counseling, and developing academic and behavioral interventions. Dr. Milsap’s seminars are founded on peer-reviewed research, experience, training, and education that have been shared with educators in local education agency trainings, seminars in various states, and local conventions.
