2026 NOMINATIONS OPEN

The OHI Hall of Fame is an award presented to an individual that has left a deep impact and has become an exemplary trailblazer and changemaker within the hospitality industry in Ontario.

All nomination submissions will be reviewed and judged by an independent committee of industry representatives. Selected award winners will be recognized at the Ontario Hospitality Conference in October 2026. Winners should be available to attend the OHI Opening Reception on October 19, 2026 at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel & Suites (600 Hwy 7, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 1B2).

Applications close at 11:59 PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

CRITERIA

Nominees will be considered based on the following:

• A minimum of 25 years committed hospitality focused industry involvement and improvement as an operator, advisor, owner, or leader; at least 10 of which took place in Ontario
• Individual will have been recognized by peers in the hospitality industry as a key recognized leader who has made significant contributions throughout their career
• Individual should have a demonstrated impact on mentoring, training and inspiring others within the industry
• Consideration will be given to activities which have positively impacted the perception of the hospitality industry to the general public
• Individuals will have participated through attendance and had visibility in industry events.
• Consideration will be given to involvement in industry related associations, initiatives, and/or support of hospitality education
• Considerations will be examined in regard to known efforts or outcomes in terms of exemplary partnerships, innovation, employee development, diversity, and sustainability
