2023 MSHYB Spring Youth League Umpire Sign-up

 


MSHYB needs umpires for the Spring 2023 Youth League.


To all returning and interested youth league umpires, umpire training will be provided for those that qualify. Stay tuned for dates and locations. In the meantime, please sign up by completing the questions below.

Eligibility


All interested in umpiring must be at least 14. If you are turning 14 during the season, which is expected to start in April, you can come to one of the below sessions but cannot umpire until your birthday.

Requirements for Attending Training


If you are 14 or 15, or have umpired fewer than 2 consecutive years, or have never attended one of our training sessions before, you must come to and stay for at least one entire session.


If you are 16 and have umped for at least 2 consecutive years, you must attend at least one session but can leave after opening remarks and key info such as text messages for rainouts and other administrative items.
