Welcome to Repair Fair - a friendly community event where skilled volunteers help people fix what is broken. Use this form to sign up your items.

Completing this form neither guarantees a spot at the front of the line nor a successful repair. Generally, this event is first come first serve. The volunteers choose items based on their skill set and comfort level. Although we try to move items through in the order they arrive, things don't always work that way. Wait times will vary. 

Please, WASH CLOTHING and VACUUM, DUST OFF and WIPE DOWN items as best you can before bringing them for repair so our fantastic volunteers are working with clean items.

Because of the popularity of this event we are limiting items to TWO (2) items per attendee per event. After you sign up one item, click the submit button and you will be given an option to "Submit another response"

The more detailed you can be about your item, the better prepared our volunteers can be with the right tools and know-how.

Please read the following Liability Release to participate in Repair Fair

RELEASE FROM LIABILITY - Repair Events in Washington County (Repair Fair)                                          

• The work carried out by Repair Volunteers is performed free of charge, and the individuals who help you are unpaid volunteers. Any new materials or replacement parts are the responsibility of the item’s owner.
• Repair Event Participants bringing broken items for repair do so at their own risk. Neither the organizers of the repair event nor the Repair Volunteers are liable for any loss that may result from advice or instructions concerning repairs, for the loss of or damage to items handed over for repair, or for any other kind of loss resulting from work performed at the repair event.
• Repair Volunteers helping to make repairs, or making repairs directly themselves, offer no guarantee for the repairs carried out and are not liable if objects that are repaired at the repair event do not work properly at home.
• Repair Volunteers are entitled to refuse to perform work on an item.
• Repair Volunteers are not obliged to reassemble disassembled items. Repair Event Participants are solely responsible for the tidy removal of their items.
• Washington County and its agents, including staff at the host location, are authorized to use any photographs or video taken at the repair event that may include the Repair Event Participants. Photos may be used for videos, flyers, brochures, press materials, and other printed materials or on websites to promote repair events.
• Repair Event volunteers and the host venue are not responsible for items left unclaimed by their owners by the end of the repair event. These items may be donated or recycled. 

In consideration of being allowed to be a Repair Event Participant, I hereby release Washington County, and its elected officials, agents and employees, Repair Volunteers from liability for any and all claims, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, lost wages, and medical expenses.
