 Nominee must have more than 50 employees.

 Nominee must be an active business located or operating in the El Dorado area.

 Nominee must be a member in good standing with the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce.

 Nominee must not have won the Chamber Business of the Year award in the past 3 years.

 Nominee must have demonstrated one or more of the following characteristics:

o Exceptional performance & growth

o Outstanding employment practices

o Innovative products or services

o Exemplary customer service

o Response to adversity

o Community Involvement

Small Business of the Year and Why

 Nominee must have 30 employees or less.

 Nominee must be an active business located or operating in the El Dorado area.

 Nominee must be a member in good standing with the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce.

 Nominee must not have won the Chamber Large Business of the Year award in the past 3 years.

 Nominee must have demonstrated one or more of the following characteristics:

o Exceptional performance & growth

o Outstanding employment practices

o Innovative products or services

o Exemplary customer service

o Response to adversity

o Community Involvement

Non-Profit of the Year and Why

 Nominee must be an active 501 (C) 3 organization located or operating in the El Dorado community.

 Nominee must be a member in good standing with the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce.

 Nominee must have been in operation for at least 2 years.

 Nominee must have shown support to the El Dorado community through contributions and support while adhering to the non-profit’s mission statement.

 Nominee must be able to provide quantitative results of the initiative.

 Mission statement of the non-profit must be provided.

The Entrepreneur award honors the business owner who turns an idea into a successful business. Our goal is to see our entrepreneurs grow and gain the support of the community where they live, work, and play.

Community Champion and Why

A Community Champion is a business leader, past or present, who exemplifies the characteristics of being successful and giving back to their community through their time, talent, and, resources. A Community Champion is someone who has the vision to improve the community and the determination, creativity, and ingenuity to make a difference. Dedicating their time through board service, leadership, volunteering, or implementation of a new program. This person focuses on making El Dorado and Butler County a better place to live. We want to honor those that are impacting lives in a positive way.
