This prestigious award recognizes an outstanding educator who has demonstrated exceptional commitment, innovation, and contributions to the field of education, positively impacting students, colleagues, and the community. The winner will be presented with their award at the Indianola Chamber of Commerce Annual Recognition Dinner, which will be held at Hubbell Hall on January 19, 2024.
Criteria for the Award are as follows:
- Excellence in Educational Leadership: Exhibit excellence in educational leadership, contributing to the development and implementation of programs or initiatives that enhance the educational experience for learners.
- Impact on Learners: Showcase a significant impact on the academic and personal development of learners, regardless of age or educational level.
- Community Educational Involvement: Actively engage with the community beyond formal educational settings, participating in activities or initiatives that contribute to the educational and cultural well-being of the Indianola community.
- Collaboration and Leadership in Education: Show effective collaboration with colleagues, administrators, and community members, contributing to the overall success of educational initiatives.
- Positive Influence on Education: Serve as a positive influence on education, advocating for the importance of lifelong learning and contributing to the advancement of educational standards.
