AURORA FUNDING SURVEY

Gerry helped secure $50 million in state funding to improve safety along Aurora Avenue North, including pedestrian safety, walkability, safer routes to schools, and public safety.

But the money is still sitting unused (since 2023), and the City says it may not be put to work until 2030.

Gun fights, sex trafficking, drug sales, and pedestrian deaths are all regular occurrences around Aurora.

These problems are urgent, and I want to make sure this funding is used effectively before we risk losing it.
