The Storm King School Alumni Council welcomes nominations for the Alumni Award for the Arts for Reunion 2027.  


Established in 2019, this award recognizes exceptional contributions and achievements by Storm King School alumni in the arts. These include visual arts, vocal music, instrumental music, theater, dance, film/documentaries, writing/literary arts, curating, directing producing or management; design arts, artistic media, etc.


This award considers the artist's recognition and impact in their field of the arts. Indicators of artistic recognition and impact include awards, grants, commissions, reviews, visibility/notoriety in publications, exhibitions or installations, touring, and other indicators of recognition and excellence in the art form.


Please complete and submit separate forms for each nominee. Nominations are encouraged as soon as possible and by December 1. Nominations will close after December 31. 


The SKS Alumni Arts Award will be presented to the recipient at Reunion 2027.

Nominations will be considered by the SKS Alumni Council's Awards Committee and by the Council. The award recipient will be announced in late winter/spring 2027 and asked to attend the alumni reunion in June to accept this award. On occasion, an award is given posthumously and a family member would attend.
