Background: This award was created as a collaboration between the Florida ESGR Committee and BAMA to promote and recognize the cooperation and synergy between the two volunteer-based organizations to assist in serving employers, service members and their families. Both organizations advise and empower Florida workforce communities through education, partnerships, and connections. This has resulted in a mutually beneficial relationship promoting the goals and objectives of BAMA and ESGR. Award Criteria: The Seven Seals Award is the broadest and most inclusive award given by ESGR and is presented at the discretion of the State Chair or by ESGR senior leadership. The Seven Seals Award is presented in recognition of significant individual or organizational achievement, initiative, or support that promotes and supports the ESGR mission. The award honors an employer who employs and supports Reserve Component Service members and has made a positive impact on not only the employees and their Families, but also on the organization’s acceptance and promotion of their service to our country. Nominations are reviewed based upon efforts made by the nominee and results of programs implemented. Eligibility: Nominees must be a member of BAMA in good standing. The BAMA awards committee administers the Seven Seals Award selection process. The BAMA committee would be under no obligation to present the award. It is voluntary. With National ESGR recognition of the award, ESGR state committees will request the award through the ESGR fulfillment vendor. Judges: The BAMA Awards Committee screens the nominees and submits the top three candidates to the ESGR judging panel. The ESGR panel consists of the State Chair, the regional Vice Chair, the Employer Outreach Director, Military Outreach Director, and an Area Chair. These members ensure the panel represents the fair and equitable cross-section of the ESGR Florida committee. |
