It is that time again to start the 2026 Nomination Process

and we are looking for your nominations for Business of the Year!

Business of the Year Criteria:

• Nominee must be a Discovery Bay Chamber of Commerce member in good standing for at least a year. 
• Nominee must be a locally owned or locally owned franchise and must be a “for profit” business. 
• Nominee must work for the betterment of Discovery Bay and surrounding areas through company or employee support and participation in the Chamber and other civic activities. 
• Nominee must demonstrate the highest business standards & ethics, gets involved or participates in schools, community activities, etc.
• Nominee possesses qualities to which other businesses aspire such as fabulous customer service, employee support or growth.
• Nominee has experienced a period of business successes, either financial or through growth, during the past year. 
• Nominee actively contribute to the community by volunteering, providing support, and forging creative alliances with local organizations, businesses, and civic groups.
• Their actions set a shining example that motivates and uplifts those around them.     
• Nominee must not have won within in the past seven (7) years, unless the business in under new ownership in that timeframe.
