2024 MSHYB Spring Youth League Umpire Sign-up

MSHYB needs umpires for the Spring 2024 Youth League.

To all returning and interested youth league umpires, umpire training will be provided for those who qualify. Please sign up by completing the questions below.

Some additional information:

Eligibility

All interested in umpiring must be at least 14. If you are turning 14 during the season, which is expected to start in April, you can come to one of the below sessions but cannot umpire until your birthday.

Working Papers

If you completed a working paper in the past, then you do NOT have to complete one again. For all others, a copy of the working paper will be sent to you directly after you sign up.

Orientation & Training

- Date: March 2nd & 3nd

- Time:  1pm-2:30pm on both days

- Where:  Gero Park Clubhouse,  357 White Oak Ridge Road

- You must attend at least one session to qualify.

- If you're new to umpiring, or haven't attended our training before, you'll need to attend and stay for at least one full session.  Stay tuned for upcoming announcements on training dates and locations.

- Seasoned umpires (16+, with at least 2 consecutive years of experience) can attend one session, focusing on the opening remarks and essential updates like rainout notifications.
