First, Do the Math


Many proportional givers begin at 5% with a goal of 10%.


Start by calculating 5% and 10% of your annual gross income.


Total your current weekly or monthly giving to estimate what you give annually.



Then, Pray the Prayer


Do I trust that it will be a blessing for me to be generous?


What is the next best goal for my family and me?


Can I increase my current giving by 1% or 2% of my income to reach my goal?


Put this aside for at least a day, pray again, and ask for clarity. Let God lead you.
