How Adopt-a-Family works:

Radiance will provide you with a customized wish list completed by a family and a guide which provides suggestions and best practices for fulfilling the wish list. We will also coordinate a drop off date that falls within our delivery window.

Who is supported by this program?

The families supported by the Adopt-a-Family Program may be current clients of Radiance Centre, former clients now living in the community and involved in follow up services and supports, or families with children attending Radiance Children's Centre or Radiance Family Day Homes in need of a helping hand and support this holiday season.

Note: participating in the Adopt-a-Family Program qualifies you for a tax receipt. Please provide receipts and a completed Donor Expenditure Form to Radiance at time of scheduled delivery.

What happens if there are more sponsors than families?

If we have more interested sponsors than there are families who complete wish lists, you will be presented the opportunity to fill a hamper with items that are frequently requested by families in our shelter throughout the year (an example list will be provided, this can include non-perishable food items, diapers, clothing and household items). This option also qualifies you for a tax receipt.
