Call for 2022 New York State Affordable Housing Award Nominations!

Project, Non-Profit Partner, MWBE Partner of the Year

On November 2, 2022, NYSAFAH will host its Annual Awards for Excellence in Affordable Housing at The Yale Club in New York City. Today, we will begin to accept nominations for projects placed in service on or after November 2, 2021 and for non-profits and MWBE's that have excelled in their partnership role over the past twelve months.

Project of the Year nominations must include a list of development partners and emails, a project narrative (below) and project budget information and photographs which should be sent separately HERE (or to Elizabeth Rossi at after completion of this survey. Projects with special focus on sustainability, cost savings, and that serve special populations, will be given additional consideration. Separate awards are given to projects in the downstate and upstate regions of the state.

Non-Profit and MWBE Partner of the Year nominations should be made for partners that have excelled in project completion, served their communities and special populations by going above and beyond, and have helped advance the industry over the past year.

All nominations MUST be made by and for NYSAFAH members to be considered. Nominations will be accepted up until September 30, 2022.

*NYSAFAH will also be presenting the Advocate of the Year Award to a deserving and tireless advocate in our industry as determined by the Board of Directors.
