THE INSTITUTE'S COMMUNITY BOOK CLUB

Black AF History: The Un-Whitewashed Story of America

THE NEXT BOOK FOR NLI'S COMMUNITY BOOK CLUB IS

BLACK AF HISTORY BY MICHAEL HARRIOT

Neighborhood Leadership Institute's Community Book Club has another thought-provoking installment for you. We'll be reading Black AF History: The Un-Whitewashed Story of America by Michael Harriot. This New York Times bestseller is a searingly smart and bitingly hilarious retelling of American history that corrects the record and showcases the perspectives and experiences of Black Americans.

Since 2020, nearly 800 participants have gathered with us to read and discuss important books on social justice and race. We begin discussions for this book on June 9th. This edition of the Book Club will conclude on July 21st. Click below to register for this free activity.
