Cemented vs Cementless TKA | Mark Mildren, MD
We will discuss the relevant literature regarding total knee arthroplasty fixation techniques including cemented vs press fit techniques and the expected outcomes as well as some expert opinions (not mine) in the matter. We will discuss decision making processes as well as when to bail to cemented technique during surgery. Finally the short and midterm outcomes of cementless vs cemented TKA’s will be discussed.
