Section 2: Walk for the Wild Team Leader / Contact Person


The Walk for the Wild Team Leader is the most important link between PLA and participating organizations. The contact person must:


  • Serve as the organization's primary and sole liaison to PLA;
  • Participate in event orientation and trainings;
  • Have access to WFTW Event platform to check gifts designated to the organization;
  • Communicate deadlines, rules, procedures and updates about WFTW to organization, volunteers, staff and donors;
  • Accept final check or designate a representative to do so;
  • Understand ramifications if rules and procedures are not followed;
  • Check email on a regular basis for up-to-date information about WFTW

Completed applications to participate in Walk for the Wild will be reviewed on a rolling basis. You will receive notification within a week of submission of your application and field station acknowledgement.
