The Fr. John Catoir Evangelization Award recognizes the positive impact of a social media campaign to make Jesus known and loved. The winner must be a CMA member and will receive a certificate and a cash award of $400 to underwrite the cost of technology in developing and or continuing their evangelization efforts.
The criteria for measuring the success of the campaign is two-tiered.
First and most important is the ability to achieve the desired outcomes shown by the response and reactions of those receiving the message.
Second is the quality of production and style of writing in delivering the message.
The submitted work must have been implemented in 2022. The evaluation of the program can include results into 2023. The work must have been implemented on a social media platform and can still be viewed on that platform.
