Creekside Harmony Garden Employment Application

Work hours available between 7am-noon M-F and applicants can work 10-20 hrs a week. The optional start day will be April 24th and tentative end date will be August 18. Both dates depend on weather and your schedule of availability. Mandatory start date is May 15th. Starting Salary is $13.50hr with possible raise after the first month.

All applicants MUST be current University of Northern Iowa students. 


PLEASE DO NOT apply if you plan to be gone more than 5 workdays in a row this summer or if you cannot start until after May 22nd.


Applicants will be assisting with daily garden chores which means weeding, watering, planting, more weeding, and various other garden chores. You will assist in running day youth camps, working at satellite garden and run other garden events and projects through the summer. Applicants should be willing learners, hard workers and adventurous eaters!

We are not expecting you to have experience working in a garden, but we do expect you to enjoy working outdoors, working with others and working on your own. Participants need to be able to follow directions, pay attention to details and work in a safe manor.
