Application for Membership in CAFCA Shared Services Division Advisory Committee

As part of SB23-219 legislation, the Office of Facility Schools, a division of the Colorado Dept. of Education (CDE), was required to issue the Shared Operational Services Grant – which will be responsible for determining need, coordinating and organizing, and finding ways that services and/or costs can be shared among and between facility schools. We are honored that CAFCA was selected as the recipient of the grant, which will be distributed over a two-year period. The new program will operate as a division of CAFCA and has the power to be a game-changer for facility schools throughout Colorado. By developing a program that makes it easy to "share" a multitude of goods and services, economies of scale can be optimized across our facility schools.

We are seeking to develop an Advisory Committee to oversee operations with the new program and to ensure it meets all the terms of the grant. If you are interested in applying to serve on this committee, please fill out the form below and return it before Monday, Feb. 19. The committee will meet once monthly from March through May, and will determine the meeting schedule thereafter through 2024 and potentially beyond. 

Applicants should have experience with/or knowledge of facility schools AND/OR group purchasing AND/OR shared services.
