CID Professional Excellence Award nominations are now open and will be accepted

through Monday, September 18th.


The nominees are then voted on using a formal process with the winners honored at a reception during the 14th Annual CID Recognition event in November. Additional details to come.

The CID Professional Excellence Award honors a CID Industry Professional’s leadership in successfully investing in critical transportation infrastructure and quality of life improvement projects to enhance a district’s economic vitality. Recognized by peers as a leader in the CID community, this person demonstrates excellence in leadership and management in building a vibrant destination to live, work, and play. Gerald McDowell, Executive Director of the ATL Airport CIDs, was the inaugural recipient of the CID Professional Excellence Award in 2020. Recipients since include Ann Hanlon and Emory Morsberger.
