For outstanding leadership in the clinical treatment and research of NET by a physician


Dr. Thomas O’Dorisio was far more than a champion of the NET community—he was our dear friend. As the very first speaker at our inaugural 2003 conference, Tom remained a beloved staple of NCAN for nearly two decades. Though he passed away in 2021, his profound legacy continues to guide and inspire us.



This award honors a physician who truly embodies Dr. O’Dorisio’s spirit, demonstrating exceptional leadership, clinical excellence, groundbreaking research, and unwavering advocacy for NET patients.


Submissions must be done by September 8, 2026, and the winner will be announced on

November 14, 2026, at the 22nd Annual NCAN' Celebration of Life Gala' in Bethpage, NY.
