Creativity Scholarship


Dale's teaching career in performing arts has spanned over 33 years. He has produced a multitude of national and world baton twirling champions with some of the most innovative and creative choreography the sport has ever seen. Currently, Dale serves as the USA Judge's Rep for the World Baton Twirling Federation and is contributing to the development of the new judging system. As an expert choreographer and judge he has traveled to over 20 countries sharing his knowledge with coaches and students eager to learn from him.


As an adjudicator, Dale is currently on the roster of Winter Guard International as well as the Ohio Music Educators Association. His focused area of adjudication is General Effect, Color Guard, and Visual captions in which he has over 20 years of experience. In addition, Mr. White mentors young judges. His expertise and predilection for everything creative is undeniable to anyone who has met him.


This scholarship will be awarded annually to one dance teacher who, like Mr. White, also exemplifies a passion for creativity. The recipient of this scholarship will receive full tuition to the Acrobatic Arts Module Two Teacher's Certification Course ($550US value).

The successful candidate will be notified by January 20th, 2025.

The 2024 scholarship must be used by December 31, 2025.
