LEADERSHIP East Alabama is an immersive program aimed at developing leadership skills and fostering a deeper understanding of the local community. Participants, who come from a wide range of industries, engage in leadership training, team-building activities, and in-depth discussions with community leaders. Throughout the program, they explore key sectors such as business, government, education, and healthcare to gain insights into the challenges and opportunities within the region. Graduates of the class emerge with enhanced leadership capabilities, a stronger professional network, and a renewed commitment to making a positive impact on the community. Class meets the second Thursday of each month.


Tuition in the amount of $750.00 for the program covers program costs, including materials, meals,

transportation, and activities. Once accepted into the program you will be billed for the tuition in full to be paid by you or your sponsoring organization.

COMMITMENT


The Leadership East Alabama program consists of an eight-month series of full-day seminars. Participant is

required to attend the full-day seminar once a month from September through April. Classes will normally

meet on the second Thursday of each month. To ensure the best dedication and commitment to the program the applicant should be aware that only one absence will be allowed during the program unless otherwise approved by your sponsor. Overall, the Leadership East Alabama program is aimed at individuals who can commit to the scheduled seminars and can be engaged with the material and activities so they get the most out of the leadership training experience. No tuition will be refunded, in whole or in part, after the opening session of the program.

By electronically signing and submitting this form, I hereby specifically and completely release the East Alabama Chamber of Commerce and participating organizations of any and all liability for injuries sustained by the above-named participant while participating in the Leadership East Alabama Program or while riding to and from said activities.
