2026 Berkeley Regional Family Event

Scholarship Application

NNPDF is offering a limited number of scholarships to help ease the cost of attending the Regional Family Event in Berkeley, CA on November 7. Apply by October 7, 2026.


Scholarship Includes:

  • One night of hotel accommodations (room + tax) at the Sonesta Emeryville San Francisco Bay Bridge
    

Eligibility:

  • Be an immediate family members or individual affected by Niemann-Pick disease
  • Reside in the United States and be a current NNPDF Member


Funding Priorities:

Scholarships are awarded based on demonstrated need and available funding. Families who have received assistance in the past are encouraged to apply; applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, subject to available funding.

Application Deadline October 7
  • Scholarship recipients are responsible for making hotel reservations and will be responsible for any incidental charges associated with the room including “no show” charges.
  • Hotel NNPDF group rate will be available Friday & Saturday evening.
  • Hotel reservation cutoff date is October 13.
  • NNPDF will pay for the conference hotel accommodations directly.
  • Applications received after October 7 will be placed on a waitlist and reviewed case by case. Families will be notified by email if funding becomes available.
