The following statements will help you better understand the role of CORE Foundation as a fiscal sponsor for your group's charitable project. Please acknowledge accordingly.

* If your project is accepted as a CORE Cause, the project's revenue and expense activity must be conducted exclusively through the CORE Foundation provided tools.
* Any existing bank accounts and PayPal type and/or fundraising accounts belonging to the project prior to becoming a CORE Cause must be closed as a condition of being approved as a CORE Cause. The group may transfer the project's existing funds into the CORE Foundation provided bank account which will be opened specifically for your project.
* Any existing "Donate" buttons and/or other fundraising links belonging to your project prior to onboarding as a CORE Cause must be re-coded to integrate with the CORE Foundation provided links.
* As a CORE Cause, your project's financial actvities will be reported on CORE Foundation's annual IRS Form 990 tax filings.
* As a CORE Cause, any non 501(c)3 beneficiaries of your project's intended contributions must be approved by CORE Foundation Directors prior to engaging in any fundraising campaigns for those beneficiaries.
* As a CORE Cause, your group's fundraising processes and project expenditures must align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as well as 501(c)3 nonprofit guidelines and best practices.
