The Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber is bringing back Taste of Downriver presented by Public Service Credit Union on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, and we want YOU to be part of it.

This high-energy summer evening brings hundreds of guests from across Metro Detroit together to eat, explore, and discover the best our region has to offer. Think of it as a “stroll and sample” experience where attendees move from stop to stop, tasting their way through Downriver.

Why participate?

• Get in front of 800+ attendees ready to try something new
• Showcase your signature menu items (or test something new!)
• Be featured across event marketing, menus, social media, and more
• Turn first-time visitors into repeat customers with special offers
• Not located in the downtown? We will have two locations where eateries can set up pop up tents

There is no charge to participate, however your commitment is needed as we prepare to print menus for our guests and advertise your participation to thousands of people from all over Metro Detroit. Spots fill quickly, especially for pop-up locations, so we encourage you to sign up early to be included in promotions and printed materials.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT APPLICATION IS MONDAY JULY 27th, 2026

Please Note:

• We suggest that participating restaurants located in Downtown Allen Park section off a portion of their space to accommodate event patrons.
• Menus for the event will be printed in advance. If you withdraw after menus have been finalized, we will be unable to make updates.
• Chamber member restaurants not located within Downtown Allen Park will have the opportunity to set up a table, along with a 10’ x 10’ pop-up tent (if desired), in a designated downtown area. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Event placement will be coordinated by Events Manager Kate Currie, and final setup locations will be shared closer to the event date.
