The Storm King School Alumni Council welcomes nominations to recognize exceptional athletic achievement by Storm King School alumni, coaches, athletic directors and teams. Nominations are encouraged in the “honor year” being celebrated in 2027 that end with "2" or "7".


Nominees should have a distinguished record in athletics and exemplify the core mission and values of The Storm King School of character, truth, respect, and responsibility.


Eligibility Qualifications:

  • An individual must have attended SKS for a minimum of two years, having left or graduated in good standing ten (10) years prior to being nominated. 
  • Coaches and teams are eligible for nomination after a minimum of five (5) years since working or playing at Storm King School.
  • Coaches and Athletic Directors at SKS must have contributed significantly to The Storm King School Athletic Program and the school. The length of time in their role will be taken into consideration.


Please complete and submit separate forms for each nominee or team. Nominations are encouraged as soon as possible and by December 1. The nominations period will be closed on December 31.


Induction into the Sports Hall of Fame will be held at the alumni reunion in June 2026. Nominators' commitment to attend and/or recruit others to attend will be considered in the selection.


This recognition was established 31 years ago and there are many past inductees. Nominations will be considered by the SKS Alumni Council's Awards Committee and by the Council. The award recipient will be announced in late winter/spring 2027 and asked to attend the alumni reunion in June to accept this award. On occasion, an award is given posthumously and a family member will attend.
