Join the Society of Camera Operators for this two and a half day comprehensive workshop focusing on operating for action. The workshop will encompass ample hands-on gear, demonstrations, lecture, and one-on-one discussions with the instructors.

Saturday, October 11th, 8am to 7pm

Sunday, October 12th, 8am to 7pm


*Please note days will be long and times are estimated. Sunday may run later and we recommend not booking flights out before 9pm Sunday.

Qualifications:

  • Active or Associate Member in good standing
  • Proficient on wheels


Fee: $2,100 USD

($100 Deposit)

What's Included:

All meals, equipment, and materials are included in the workshop fee. For out-of-town participants, transportation will be provided to and from the host hotel and CineMoves. Accommodations are not included.


Cancellation Policy:

A full refund minus an administrative fee of $150 will be refunded if you need to cancel your seat by September 26th, 2025. After September 26th there will be no refunds. Please anticipate 30 days for the refund.

This 2.5 day workshop hosted at the Cinemoves Movie Ranch in Atlanta, GA, will explore the challenges and techniques required to perform at elite levels of the adrenaline-packed, large-budget, and high-stakes world of “Action” Operating.  


The workshop is designed for current operators at any level who are interested in developing valuable, hands-on, practical skills to excel in this exhilarating, but often intimidating, arena of our industry.  


Veteran action–adventure camera operator/instructors will lead the workshop, sharing decades-learned techniques, valuable tips, and critical methodology in an environment where “perfection” is expected on TAKE ONE


A staff of Professional Stunt Performers, Armorers, Dolly Grips, Crane Techs, Precision Drivers, and Camera Assistants will assist in real-world demonstrations and hands-on training exercises designed to give each student maximum exposure to common operating challenges.
