Since 2006, Christmas Trees of Hope has delivered over 4,000 live, unsold Christmas Trees to families whose hope is waining; starting in the OC and expanding to the West Valley in 2012.

This year, with so many suffering, we hope to receive another 'healthy load' of trees to share.

To prepare those trees for use in families in need of hope, we need ornaments, skirts, stands and toppers. Our toppers are always handmade by community members with love and respect for the recipients.

As you prepare your Christmas tree, please consider donating your older (or new??) ornaments and accessories. It will defray costs of ensuring recipients have a full 'decorating kit'. It also provides additional opportunities for our neighbors who want to 'GIFT' , but may be lacking funds, to sort, organize and enjoy the Joy of Giving through their participation!

Make Topper streamers , narrow ribbon. 2 x 6' long; fold in half = 4 x 3' streamers

Make Ribbon ornament hangers (10" ,, thin ribbon)

Place 10 ribbon ornament hangers in envelopes. (We do NOT use metal hangers for safety/children reasons)

Assemble kits ( into shopping bags!)

Make Stands

Make Skirts -

Deliver trees; help assemble stands

Christmas Lights - NOTE; We will NOT include lights separately with trees due to fire hazard and cost of operation. However, if you donate a pre-lit artificial tree with WORKING lights, we will keep them on the tree. We will remove non-working lights and donate any received to a non-profit which will use them. ,

Monetary donations are graciously accepted for use ONLY in administration (bags, cards, etc), gas or food for volunteers!

MONETARY: We do NOT ask for funds. New or gently used items in good condition are welcomed. We do NOT want YOU to be 'out of pocket' for items if you cannot afford it, hence we will cover gas and other expenses on a one-by-one basis. Any gift card or other donations submitted to defray such costs are appreciated but NOT expected.
