Denver Hazard Mitigation Plan Community Survey

The Denver Office of Emergency Management wants to hear from you. We are updating our plan to help keep Denver safe during emergencies, and your input matters. We want to know what kinds of disasters you are worried about in your neighborhood and how you and your family prepare.

This survey will help us understand what information and resources our community needs to be better prepared.

Emergencies can happen at any time. Things like power, water, phones, or emergency services may not be available right away. Taking small steps now can make a big difference for you and your family. Don’t worry if you don’t feel prepared. Every step counts.

This survey is optional and anonymous. We will only group answers by zip code. Please feel free to share this survey with others in your community. It should take less than 15 minutes to complete and will be open until October 1st 2026.
