| On March 11, 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act was signed into law. This Act allocates $350 billion nationwide to Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. Counties will share $65.1 billion of this amount via direct allocations from the U.S. Treasury. On May 10, 2021, Saline County was notified of an award in the amount of $10,532,376. Per terms of the Act, funds must be obligated by December 31, 2024, and fully expended no later than December 31, 2026. |
