Parental rights to exercise primary control over the upbringing of their children do not end at the front door of the school or when boarding a school bus. Only a parent shall have the right to consent if their child shall wear a mask, receive a vaccine, and to other mitigation strategies [segregation of masked and non-masked children in the school, quarantining of healthy children, etc...] implemented during this past school year. As we look to the upcoming school year, parental rights must be restored and respected by school leadership regardless of any state of emergency. |
