Sign up for our 2026 Peer Volunteer Training!

Monday, October 12, 4-6pm PT

Held annually in November. UCSF neuro-oncology peer volunteers (aka, Thrivers) must: (1) be a patient in the UCSF neuro-oncology clinic and at least one-year post-diagnosis; (2) be interested in and able to provide a listening and understanding ear to others facing a brain tumor diagnosis; (3) complete a 2-hour online training; and (4) complete an online volunteer application.

We will contact you with more information about the training session as the date approaches. Volunteer terms are one-year in length and can be extended.

Peer volunteers will have access to ongoing training and group support throughout their volunteer experience.
