In partnership and collaboration with community, the brother jeff Cultural Center provides FREE meals on Thanksgiving.

Thank you for signing up to volunteer to help make and deliver as many as 15,000 meals!

We love our volunteer community. If you sign up to volunteer, we will give you an assignment. We will aim to get assignment emails out by head on pillow Sunday, November 22nd. As this is a volunteer project, emails may go out later. Thank you for your patience and please consider yourself 'booked' upon filling out this form. 

Unless they are kids, have anyone volunteering with you fill out this form.


NOTE: about kids volunteering. This is a safe, fun, welcoming, but highly stimulating and crowded environment. There are a few tasks suitable for elementary kids. Would be tough with kids 5 years old and younger.


Please, sign up for rmeal(s) for you and anyone who volunteers with you. Because No One Should Be Hungry, Period. And, that includes our volunteers. You can use this form to do that.

EVENT DETAILS

WHEN: 

Wednesday, November 25th - prep and cook turkeys at your home to be ready by Thursday morning; and we may ask for volunteers Wednesday to start on prep.

Thursday, November 26th with shifts between 7 am and 5 pm

• 7 am - AURORA -- Mile High Commissary set up
• 8 am - 11 am - set up, cooking, potato peeling, organizing, flyering neighborhoods
• 11 am - 2 pm - cooking, boxing, organizing, delivering
• 2 pm - 5 pm - boxing, organizing, delivering, clean up
• You can also choose to volunteer all day

OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP

• Share the meal sign-up with someone you know could use a meal/meals on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26th. Enoucrage them to sign up by Tuesday, November 25th.
