External Content & Posting Policy APA Idaho welcomes requests to disseminate information to our network. All requests must be submitted in writing (email or fax) and are subject to review by the presiding Board member based on the following guiding criteria: Vetting & Alignment
- Affiliation: Is the requestor a member of APA or AICP, or part of a professional organization with interests aligned with the APA Idaho Chapter mission and bylaws?
- Consistency: Is the content consistent with the professional interests and strategies of APA Idaho?
- Neutrality: Does the request remain non-partisan and avoid endorsing a single political party?
Quality & Security Standards
- Conduct: Content must not be propagandistic, offensive, or likely to cause professional animosity.
- Privacy: In accordance with APA policy, requests involving the release of our internal member email list will be denied.
Review Process Please note that these questions serve as a guide for the Board. Alignment with professional affiliations does not guarantee approval. Any content deemed a potential conflict of interest or a violation of APA policy (specifically regarding political endorsements or data privacy) will be denied or referred to the Board Chair for further secondary review. |
