Who Can Enter: Bands or artists rooted in the Southeast. Genres: Bluegrass, Americana, Folk, or Roots Must be available to perform on August 28 & 29 in Mill Spring, NC *Banjos not necessary to win*
How It Works: Entry is free. Fill out the form below by 12:00AM ET on Friday, June 27th. One entry per band.
Round 1: Panel Judging A panel of festival organizers and music professionals will review all submissions and select 3–5 finalists based on musicianship, originality, and fit for the festival. Finalists will be announced on Wednesday, July 2nd.
Round 2: Fan Vote Finalists will be featured online and voting will open to the public. Stay tuned for voting schedules. Rally your fans to help you win the top spot!

FAQ: The winning band will receive set times on an official festival stage (stage assignment at the discretion of festival organizers). Artists are responsible for their own travel arrangements and expenses. The festival will only cover camping passes for the weekend. WNCW interview will be scheduled ahead of the festival (can be in person or virtual).
By submitting, you grant Earl Scruggs Music Festival permission to use your band’s image, bio, and music clips for promotional purposes related to the contest. |
