10 AM–12 PM | "Chalk the Path" Price Ave & Elkin St Join Groundshift Studio artists and your neighbors to create a washable, colorful path showing how stormwater flows downhill toward Wheaton Veterans Park. No experience needed!
12–3 PM | Community Celebration Wheaton Veterans Park Stay for music, food, local artists, and community and County partners sharing projects shaping Wheaton's future.
Why Follow the Flow? Price Avenue and Elkin Street flood during rain, with stormwater rushing across the crosswalk and lingering afterward. This event makes that hidden problem visible through art and kicks off OMG's Price & Elkin S Stormwater Concept Design Competition, inviting designers to imagine solutions for the intersection. Come make art, learn about stormwater, and celebrate your community!
