| This 60-minute mat yoga class accommodates all levels, and is perfect for beginners, yogis with injuries or health concerns, and for more advanced students who want to create space for restoration in body and mind. This class will be practiced at a slower pace with a focus on the foundations of yoga: including the principles of alignment in poses (asana), breath-work (pranayama), and meditation to support a healthy lifestyle. You will be encouraged to work within your own abilities and limitations. Props are highly encouraged – yoga blocks, yoga strap and blanket.

Bio: Sharon Rivet, E-RYT 500, is a Kripalu-certified Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher and Usui Reiki Master. She has been practicing yoga for over 30 years and has had additional training in yoga therapy. Sharon is devoted to offering modifications and alternate tools for students managing physical limitations, as well as reiki for promoting relaxation and healing. She was diagnosed with WM in 2018.
