| All are welcome- alumni, future participants, interested parties, or anyone who would like to spend a few hours giving back along the beautiful Boise River. What to wear and bring: Folks should wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, along with pants and long sleeves they don't mind getting dirty or torn, to protect against scratchy plants or wire. Please bring a water bottle and gardening or work gloves. ICC will provide all tools, snacks, water to refill from, a first-aid kit, sunscreen, bug spray, hand sanitizer, a safety and educational briefing, and great energy. To volunteer, RSVP below and meet at the parking lot for the Rose Garden in Julia Davis Park. Map to meeting locations: https://maps.app.goo.gl/CaiFqPGH9gy536f48. Look for the white truck with an ICC logo! We will walk from there down to the greenbelt (5-10 minute walk), so any latecomers can also find us along the North side of the river- we'll have a sign saying ICC along the path. Or call Lisa at 208-488-2190. Join us in celebration starting at 4 PM at Mother Earth Brewing. Folks are welcome to only come to the gathering at Mother Earth, should they be unable/uninterested in volunteering. |
