| The City of Winooski is improving the roadway along the Main Street (US 2/7) corridor, starting at the New England Central Railroad bridge near the intersection with Maple Street and extending to the Winooski-Colchester town line near the Winooski School District. Construction on the project is anticipated to take place over three construction seasons starting this spring and continuing through summer 2026. Construction will require impacts to traffic, parking, driveways, property frontage within the ROW, and utilities. The Main Street Revitalization Project Team and the Contractor will work to reduce construction impacts to businesses and residences along the route as much as possible.
