The Good Neighbor Pledge

In honor of the 60th Anniversary of Fair Housing Contact Service, we have revived The Good Neighbor Pledge. The original pledge took place in 1966 and was signed by individuals in 27 cities throughout Northeast Ohio.

Fill in your information below to take the pledge today!

I believe that every person has the moral and legal right to rent, buy, or build a home anywhere without restriction based on a protected class (race, color, religion, national origin, sex, family status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression and more). Equity of opportunity is basic to the American society. Therefore, I will welcome people into my neighborhood without regard to our similarities or differences; and I will work with them to build, to improve, and to maintain a community which is good for all.
