Southern California Native Learning Camp

Join us on November 7, 2026 for a day of connection and knowledge sharing at the Southern California Native Learning Camp, where we will focus on restoring a harmonious relationship with the land and each other.


The event will run from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm at Los Coyotes Reservation Campground in Warner Springs, California. We will honor the past, present, and future through the relationships that sustain us.


At the event we will:


  • Learn about native tobacco and other sacred plants.
  • Strengthen our understanding of ceremonial fire.
  • Enjoy traditional arts and crafts.
  • Share a meal together around the campfire.


Important Logistics


  • All ages are welcome; those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Food and drink will be provided, as well as fire preparedness kits.
  • Self-hosted camping is available for groups or individuals that would like to stay the night before or after.
  • Attendees must register in advance to participate in this event.

  • An official agenda will be shared in September.
  • You'll also have the opportunity to provide feedback by participating in the Tribal Community Coordinating Center Community Forum, where participants will have the chance to win gift cards and prizes.
