Waiver & Liability Agreement Kidpreneur Market at The Garage By submitting an application and participating in the Kidpreneur Market at The Garage, the parent or legal guardian agrees to the following terms: Parental Supervision Requirement All participating children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during the event. Parents/guardians are fully responsible for:
- Supervision
- Behavior
- Safety
- Setup and breakdown of their child’s booth
The Garage does not provide childcare or supervision services. Assumption of Risk By participating in this event, you acknowledge that participation in a public market environment involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Crowds
- Weather exposure
- Equipment or setup hazards
- Food handling risks
- Electrical usage (if applicable)
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation. Release of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless: The Garage at 2509 Alabama Houston International & Cultural Festivals LLC Property owners, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, injuries, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of participation in the event. This includes but is not limited to:
- Personal injury
- Property damage
- Lost or stolen items
- Financial loss
Responsibility for Personal Property Participants are solely responsible for their own:
- Merchandise
- Equipment
- Tents and tables
- Payment devices
- Personal belongings
The Garage is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Food Sales Responsibility Any participant selling food or beverages agrees that:
- Parents/guardians are responsible for food safety
- All local guidelines should be followed
- The Garage assumes no liability related to food preparation or consumption
Electricity Usage (If Applicable) If purchasing electricity access, you agree:
- To use power safely and responsibly
- To bring appropriate extension cords/equipment
- That The Garage is not liable for equipment damage or outages
Media Release By attending and participating, you grant permission for photos and videos taken during the event to be used by The Garage for:
- Marketing
- Social media
- Promotional materials
- Future event promotion
No compensation will be provided for media usage. Agreement Acknowledgment By submitting this application, you confirm that:
- You are the parent or legal guardian of the participating child
- You have read and agree to these terms
- You understand participation is voluntary
- You accept full responsibility for your child’s participation
