By signing up, you also consent to having photos and videos of you taken. These may be used for future community-related events organized by the Park Slope Civic Council, unless we receive explicit permission to use them for other purposes.
Section 2: Tree Bed Care Demo
Learn how to care for and maintain the tree beds in front of your home. We'll be cleaning up the tree beds around the Old Stone House and demonstrating simple ways to keep them healthy, looking good and learn why this is so important to our environment.
Section 3: Get Ready For The Halloween Parade!
The Park Slope Civic Council Halloween Parade is Saturday, October 31st, and this year we're bringing some of the Halloween fun to the Civic Sweep!
There are two ways to participate:
OPTION 1: Help Us Decorate A Civic Council Float
Want to help us decorate one of the Civic Council's Halloween floats? Sign up for a 30-minute decorating shift at the Civic Sweep. We'll provide the wagons and all the decorating materials. You just need to show up and help us make them look great! The shifts would only be between 11:00 am and 1 pm.
OPTION 2: Decorate Your Own Wagon
Want to decorate your own wagon and bring it to both the Civic Sweep and the Halloween Parade? Bring your wagon to the Civic Sweep on October 24th and we'll provide the decorating materials. You can decorate your wagon with us at the Civic Sweep and then bring your finished creation to the Halloween Parade on October 31st.
