| Acushnet to Fall River Reliability Project
To enhance system reliability and address the demand for electricity, Eversource and National Grid are proposing a reliability project to construct a new 12.1-mile, 115 kilovolt overhead transmission line between Acushnet and Fall River. Eversource's portion of the proposed transmission line will extend approximately 7.9 miles, passing through Acushnet, Dartmouth and New Bedford. The line would then continue for approximately 4.2 miles in Fall River for National Grid’s portion of the transmission line.
